Liberal Democrat Councillor Gordon Seekings - re-elected in Northgate

Results are now in for Crawley Borough Council and once again Liberal Democrat leader Gordon Seekings has been re-elected. In an election where the Conservatives gained 4 seats from Labour the Liberal Democrats more than held their own.

Gordon Seekings was re-elected in Northgate trouncing the Labour and Conservative candidates by getting more votes than them combined.

Elsewhere in the town the Conservatives gained seats from Labour in Ifield, Southgate, Three Bridges and, much to Labour's surprise, in Tilgate. Labour retained seats in Bewbush and Langley Green,

Conservative seats held were Furnace Green, Gossops Green, Maidenbower, Pound Hill North and Pound Hill South & Worth.
