We have been contacted about a new community website for Crawley - www.crawleyonline.org. The site is Forum based and covers all aspects of Crawley life. We have been asked to make as many people aware of it as possible and to also publicise the fact that it is free.

We are more than happy to do that but should point out that we do not necessarily agree with all the views posted on that website in the same way that they may not totally agree with what we say here!

Commenting on the new website Crawley Lib Dem leader, Cllr Gordon Seekings said "A genuinely independent discussion forum for Crawley is long overdue. There have been several attempts in the past to do one but they have for a variety of reasons failed. I wish the organisers of this one well and I hope that it will be well used."

Concluding Gordon said "As one of the first registered users of the website I have already recognised that it may play an important part in the life of the town over the coming months and years. I have no hesitation in encouraging as many Crawley bloggers as possible to join it."
