Councillor Linda Seekings - arguing for increased security to prevent illegal encampments

Councillor Linda Seekings has been arguing with other Crawley Councillors for increased security to prevent illegal encampments on sites around Crawley and in particular the area she represents of Northgate.

At the time of writing this the Court case to decide what will happen about the illegal encampment of Travellers at Dalewood Gardens is awaited. As many readers of this website will know the Travellers have been on this site for many months and the Borough Council has been prevented by a Court Order from removing them.

The case in the High Court to discuss the removal of the Travellers from Dalewood Gardens is scheduled for 2/3 February. As soon as there is news about the case we will post an update here.
