Rupert Sheard - the real Crawley Hospital Campaign candidate?12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Sun 12th Dec 2004 Rupert Sheard, the Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for Crawley at the next General Election, is determined to make Crawley Hospital his number one priority. "Crawley deserves it's own state of the art modern hospital. We are probably the only town with over 100,000 people in the South East of England that has a hospital that has reduced it's services since Labour came to power. "Crawley is being let down by Labour. Who would have thought, 10 years ago, that a Labour MP would represent a town that has seen a decline in it's hospital services - and yet be proud of supporting a party that supports that decline! Labour are part of the problem of Crawley Hospital and not the solution. Rupert went on to say that he was "...the real Crawley Hospital Campaign candidate. Others may talk about it but I will do it. A vote for the Liberal Democrats will be a vote for someone who will actually fight for Crawley's Hospital rather than talk about it.
