IRAQ - Blair's Labour party insulting the people of Crawley12.00.00am UTC (GMT +0000) Thu 14th Oct 2004 With Crawley residents in the armed services in Iraq now is the time for Labour members to make it clear whether they support their possible deaths or not. The Prime Minister has done everything but apologies for leading this country to an unnecessary and illegal war - and now he want to lead us even deeper into it. As Crawley Lib Dem Councillor Gordon Seekings said "Harold Wilson had the courage to refuse the USA's "invitation" to take part in the Viet Nam war - but Blair does not have the guts to refuse George Bush's invitation to stop us getting involved in a similar and futile war. What saddens me is that he is being supported by Crawley's MP, Laura Moffat, whose commitment to CND before becoming an MP was well noted."
