Crawley Liberal Democrats - Working for Crawley the whole year round

Crawley Pensioner Action Group and Local Income Tax

10.12.04pm UTC (GMT +0000) Fri 16th Jul 2004

Crawley Pensioners Action Group (CPAG) had as their guest at their latest meeting Northgate's Lib Dem Councillor Gordon Seekings. Gordon had been asked to lead a discussion and take part in a question and answer session on Local Income Tax - the Liberal Democrats alternative to the hated Council Tax.

Gordon said "I was speaking to the converted. The depth of knowledge and experience within that group made it clear that almost all of them are already convinced that a Local Income Tax is the fairer alternative to the Council Tax."
