Councillor Gordon Seekings - fighting to save Sub-Post Office

Commenting on the threat to close Northgate Parade's sub-Post Office (as well as 3 others in Crawley - Ifield Green, Pound Hill's Peterhouse Parade and West Green's Ewhurst Road) Lib Dem Councillor Gordon Seekings says "This has been forced on the Post Office by the stupid attitude of the Government. The fact that our MP voted in favour of this make it even more disgusting - but then she almost never votes against her party line."

"There are over 880 Pensioners in Northgate - some 20% of the total residents - who rely at the moment on the Post Office to get their pension. They are ALL going to have to go elsewhere to get their Pensions.

It's typical that this information has been sneaked out over the Christmas/New Year period in the hope that no one would notice."
